Popular spreads include for example thin cut cucumber slices, cream cheese, and smoked salmon, and coronation chicken to name a few. Equally nice and sometimes included are egg mayonnaise with cress, and ham and mustard. Furthermore, small cakes and pastries are also part of an afternoon tea. And there are yummy scones with jam and clotted cream?too.
Last but not least, the final touch is a nice pot of tea. On the whole, the most favourite teas are black teas, for instance, Earl Grey and herbal teas such as mint and camomile. You eat afternoon tea from savoury to sweet. A lighter version is a cream tea, which only includes the scones and tea.
